How Did You Use Media Technologies In The Construction And Research, Planning And Evaluation Stages?

I have used the program IshowU to demonstrate how I have made certain elements of my A2 media project I started off by using this program at the beginning of the year i have also used this program in my evaluation as one of the criteria objectives is to a wider range of media technologies.

I have used digital camera from my preliminary shots at the start of the year I have also used a digital camera all the way through this project to keep a photographic log of whatever I have tested(e.g. make up).



I have used garage band to create the soundtrack for my teaser trailer I first used this program at the start of the year and found it a really easy program to use and had no trouble creating music and sound effects on it.



This is one of the main projects I have used as I have created my poster and my film magazine and because I had used this program all last year I have no trouble using the program and making a semi-professional looking piece of work.



This is the main image capturing device I have used, I have used the SLR to take the best quality videos possible so that i could then go onto making images like my front cover or my film magazine.










I have used this video camcorder to film all of my teaser trailer this year, as I have used this camera in AS film I found it easy to use and found I could get the best sot with no problem.






Blogger is the main program I have used all year. I have used this program all year to document every small detail of the making of my teaser trailer, film magazine and my film poster.







I have used this program at the start of the year to put forward my pitch to the class and see if the idea was and appealing concept. I have also used this program in making evaluation question 1.




I used this program at the beginning of the year to create my production schedule. I had used this program last year so producing the production schedule for my trailer poster and magazine was simple.





I have used Prezi to make a small presentation about my target audience for my teaser traielr , magazine and poster and how i was going to use elements from existing media text to draw my target audience in.

 

I have used this program all year round to make such things as questionnaires and scripts. as i have used word since i was young the skill I have gained helped me in making the things I have just mentioned.

This is my finished film poster for Quarantine as you can see I have edited the bricks in the background to look a bit more green. This makes the colour scheme fit together better and make the poster look more professional.

This is my finished film magazine that is advertising my movie. I have taken insperation from existing film magazines like Total Film and Empire and used the same sort of layout style to make it look as realistic as possible.

This is another change to my film magazine. I have made it so that my main image has a darker shadow on is face. This is so the main image will look a bit darker and it looks more effective with the background.

In order to finish my teaser trailer I still need to film the newsreader section of my trailer and also the locking doors scene and the panic scene needs re filming. If I can do this on the upcoming Saturday then I will be on track to finish my trailer by Friday 4th March. (this is not including souundtrack)

After looking into the sound aspect of my teaser tralier, I have decided to look at adding certain sound effects to build the tension, sounds like cars crashing and windows smashing is a heavy convention in films were panic is featured. Also I have looked at music from other zombie films and found lots of purcussion instuments have been used, I will take this into consideration when making the soundtrack for my teaser trailer. Also looking at existing trailers like 28 days later , 28 weeks later and resident evil 4&5 trailers I have found that the trailer is mainly based on sharp errie sounds and then music is played over a small action section of the trailer, then at the end the errie sound returns to finish off the trailer again leaving the audience with suspence.

This is my film poster magazine to date and as you can see from the original image I have added a different image of Adam over the top of the background image. I decided Adam was not close enough to the camera and he needed to be the focus of attention.

This is the possible sound I will use on teaser trailer. I will try all the voice over on the trailer once and if I don't like any of them I will not be featuring it in my teaser trailer.

NEWSREADER: this is an emergency broadcast, there has been a major outbreak and the dead are rising. To keep people safe the government has released these instructions to keep you safe whilst the country is in Quarantine.

1. DO NOT PANIC
(cut to people panicking and running during the day)
(cut back to newsreader, camera zoom in)

2. LOCK ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS
(cut to people locking doors and windows)
(cut back to newsreader, camera zoom in closer)

NEWSREADER: And finally whatever you do, do not go out side alone!
(cut to Adam surrounded by zombies)
(Cut back to newsreader)

NEWSREADER: Is... is that it?, good then let's get the hell out of here!
(zombie Adam bursts through the door and staggers toward newsreader)
NEWSREADER: Wait ... NOOOOOO (screaming continues)

These are some of the developments I have my made to my film magazine , I have added a green tinge to make it look like the area is infected and I have also made the corners of the image darker so it looks like things are going dark around Adam.
